– In order to start the process of the free consultation, our Credit Advisors will need a current 3 Bureau Credit Report from the last 30 days. We always suggest using the link provided (www.MyReportSource.com) which will automatically send clients to order their Credit Report. We prefer clients to use this credit-monitoring site because not only is it easy to read for both parties, but it also offers reports through all 3 major bureaus on one monitoring site, and… only costs $1 to pull a copy for the first seven days. We will also give you tips on how to keep credit monitoring for $12.95 per month!
– Please be advised Cobalt CANNOT use the AnnualCreditReport.com for submitted credit reports. When checking the Terms and Conditions box prior to pulling your free annual credit report (which takes the average person 76 8-hour work days to read) you are fully forfeiting consumer rights under the FCRA that we use to dispute and delete negative items!
– Now that the current credit report is available, all we need is the clients full name, e-mail, best contact phone number, and credit report password; we encourage to use a generic password (ex. credit700, cobalt720, etc.) and a Credit Advisor will contact you within 24-48 hours Monday-Friday during regular business hours.
– Cobalt Credit Services is not in the business for high-pressure sales, and we’ll never hold back from letting clients know exactly what they are looking at. It is important to us to keep consumers educated, and always set expectations that are reasonable for both ends to meet! We are a team of highly skilled professionals that seek to make a difference!

– Our staff understands the concern of personal information being shared for the risk of Identity Theft, and would be concerned if our client’s weren’t! This is why we only work with secure software when handling a client’s information. When we ask for a copy of your recent credit report (with exceptions of a Lenders report) there will be no personal information on that report except for the client’s name and address; there is nothing visible within the report that could result in Identity Theft or Fraudulent Charges.

Though we always prefer client’s to use our link to obtain a recent copy of their credit report, as long as the report is current within 30 days and reports for all 3 major Bureaus and is in PDF format, client’s can share the report via e-mail, as well as the website used to obtain the report with the log-in and password.
I don’t want an Inquiry reporting on my Credit Report:
The reason why we ALWAYS have potential clients pull their own credit report is for this reason! Checking your own credit will NEVER count against you! Any other lender, bank, etc. will! This is the reason why we ask clients to create a generic password when signing up for credit monitoring, and share the information with us. If we pulled reports in house this would defeat the purpose of what Cobalt is trying to serve, we try to BOOST your scores, not weigh them down!
